Frequently asked questions

What size PVC banner do I need?
Measure the space where it will hang and allow room for fixings. Popular sizes are 1 × 2 m and 1 × 3 m for fences and shopfronts, and 0.5 × 1 m for smaller signs.

Do I need eyelets?
Eyelets are metal rings around the edge that make hanging easy with cable ties, rope or bungees. Choose Add Eyelets in the calculator for outdoor hanging.

Can PVC banners go outside?
Yes – PVC banners are waterproof and built for outdoor use. In windy spots a mesh banner (see our vinyl banners page) lets wind pass through.

How long does delivery take?
Choose Saver, Standard or Express when you order. Your estimated delivery date is shown next to the price before you check out, and delivery to UK addresses is free.

What file should I upload?
A print-ready PDF is best, but JPG, PNG and ZIP files up to 100MB are accepted. Set up your artwork at the banner size (or to scale) as one PDF. You can also order now and upload your artwork later.

Size Guide

Available sizes (height × width as shown in the calculator):

- Heights/widths from 0.3 m up to 2 m, and lengths from 1 m up to 6 m, in 0.5 m steps
- Popular sizes: 0.5 × 1 m, 1 × 2 m, 1 × 3 m, 0.75 × 3 m, 2 × 3 m

Quick conversions:

- 1 m = 100 cm = 39.4 in
- 3 m = 9.8 ft
- 6 m = 19.7 ft

Tip: keep text and logos at least 50 mm from the edges, and well clear of eyelet positions. Make text big – a banner seen from 10 m needs letters at least 10 cm tall.
Turnaround & Delivery
Care Instructions

- Roll banners print side out around a tube rather than folding them, to avoid creases.
- Make sure the banner is clean and dry before you store it.
- Store rolled in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth, mild soapy water and rinse – no solvents or pressure washers.
- Take banners down in very strong winds; mesh banners let wind through but fixings still need checking.
