What size is a postcard?
The standard UK postcard is A6 – 148 × 105 mm (5.8 × 4.1 in). We also print A5 (210 × 148 mm) and DL (210 × 99 mm) postcards.

Why choose silk postcards?
Silk sits between matt and gloss: crisp colour, no glare and easy to write on with most pens. 400gsm feels noticeably thicker and more premium than 350gsm.

Can I order a small quantity?
Yes. Type the quantity you need into the custom box and the price updates instantly. A few combinations have a minimum order – the calculator will tell you if so.

How long does delivery take?
Choose Saver, Standard or Express when you order. Your estimated delivery date is shown next to the price before you check out, and delivery to UK addresses is free.

What file should I upload?
A print-ready PDF is best, but JPG, PNG and ZIP files up to 100MB are accepted. For double-sided postcards, put the front on page 1 and the back on page 2 of one PDF. You can also order now and upload your artwork later.

- A6: 148 × 105 mm (14.8 × 10.5 cm, 5.8 × 4.1 in)
- A5: 210 × 148 mm (21 × 14.8 cm, 8.3 × 5.8 in)
- DL: 210 × 99 mm (21 × 9.9 cm, 8.3 × 3.9 in)

Which size?

- A6: the classic postcard – fits standard postcard racks, frames and envelopes (C6)
- A5: double the space for photos, menus and invitations
- DL: long and slim – fits a DL envelope and works well as a rate card or compliment card

Tip: keep text and logos at least 5 mm inside the trim edge. If the postcard will be posted, leave the right half of the back clear for the address and stamp.

Care Instructions

- Keep postcards boxed and flat in a cool, dry place until you need them.
- Store away from damp and direct sunlight to prevent curling and fading.
- Handle with clean, dry hands, especially on uncoated stocks.
- Laminated postcards can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth – avoid solvents.
- Unlaminated paper postcards can be recycled with household paper (laminated ones may not be accepted everywhere – check locally).
