Frequently asked questions

What size should my swing tags be?
A8 (74 × 52 mm) and business-card size (85 × 55 mm) are the most popular for clothing. Strip tags (for example 148 × 52 mm) suit bottles, candles and gifts.

Can you drill a hole?
Yes – choose Drilling in the calculator and we'll drill a hole for string, ribbon or tagging pins. Keep text and logos clear of the hole area.

What is pulp board?
Pulp is a thick, uncoated board with a natural, textured feel. Colours print slightly softer than on coated card, and it's easy to write or stamp on.

Can I order a small quantity?
Yes. Type the quantity you need into the custom box and the price updates instantly. A few combinations have a minimum order – the calculator will tell you if so.

How long does delivery take?
Choose Saver, Standard or Express when you order. Your estimated delivery date is shown next to the price before you check out, and delivery to UK addresses is free.

What file should I upload?
A print-ready PDF is best, but JPG, PNG and ZIP files up to 100MB are accepted. For double-sided tags, put the front on page 1 and the back on page 2 of one PDF. You can also order now and upload your artwork later.

Tip: if you add a drilled hole, keep text and logos well clear of it – leave about 10 mm around the hole position, and at least 4 mm inside the trim edge.

Care Instructions

- Keep swing tags boxed and flat in a cool, dry place until you attach them.
- Store away from damp and direct sunlight to prevent curling and fading.
- Attach with string, ribbon or tagging pins through the drilled hole.
- Remove tags before washing garments.
- Paper and board tags can be recycled with household paper.
